Taxi Battle

April 18, 2011 Leave a comment

There’s so little space in Yerevan that one has to fight for each milimeter. Of course! The Armenian capital is a highly urbanized megapolis where life boils, and you’ll have to keep up with its rhythm, otherwise you’ll be thrown out of the routine.

And this, apparently, was what two taxi drivers on Mashtots avenue were doing – fighting for a place under the sun. By the way the sun today is quite warm, so after the morning rain it can be characterized as worthy to fight for.

Anyway, it isn’t a pleasant thing to see when two middle-aged men argue for some six meters. They were shouting and offending each other out loud. I wonder, don’t they think about women and children passing by?

Conclusion: civilization is not only iPhones and credit cards.
